What's your role within grid computing?
  I'm currently responsible of the CSIC involvement in the NA3 (Remote Instrumentation Communities and Application Support) and SA2 (Deployment and Management of Production Infrastructure) activitities of the DORII project.
 
Why did you get in to grid?
  I liked both computers and networks, the position was offered in my home city and it looked interesting.
 
What did you study at university?
  Communication Engineering.
 
What did you want to be at school?
  A cosmonaut.
 
What are the highlights of your job?
  Meeting new people, travelling and getting to play with interesting and expensive machines.
 
What are the lowlights of your job?
  Bureaucracy.
 
What do you do when you're not at work?
  Hanging out with friends. Travelling.
 
What are your goals for the next year?
  Nothing in sight.
 
Would you encourage your children to get in to grid and IT?
  I'd rather encourage not having children right now. Financial crisis everywhere.
 
What do you want to be when you grow up?
  Not bald.
