IFCA Computing Room

The IFCA computing room is distributed into several clusters, each one related to a dedicated project. Currently, IFCA’s computing coom is divided into six clusters: GRID-CSIC (182 nodes), CMS (28 nodes), INGRID (20 nodes), EIFCA (90 nodes), GRID (80 nodes) and EGAES (20 nodes).
Altogether IFCA has 420 nodes dedicated to grid computing.

Futhermore, IFCA accommodates the supercomputating node of the University of Cantabria (UC) called ALTAMIRA, which is part of the Spanish Supercomputation Network (RES). ALTAMIRA consist of 512 processors, interconnected by a Myrinet high performance network, and includes one storage system with 14 Terabytes of capacity.
